Mexico Beach, Florida

The Emerald Coast, shot by a Hollywood eye.

Mexico Beach is the Forgotten Coast at its quietest — no high-rises, no crowds, just sugar sand and open Gulf. Ed Gutentag brings 35 years of film-set experience to this unhurried stretch east of Panama City Beach. Every image delivered.

Where Ed shoots in Mexico Beach

Mexico Beach moves at a different pace, and the photographs show it. Without the resort towers and beach-chair rows of the busier coast, the frame is clean — just your family, the white sand, and the Gulf running to the horizon. It is one of the most underrated places on the Panhandle to be photographed.

Ed knows the light here: low, golden, and unobstructed, with long uninterrupted beach in both directions. He'll pick the stretch that suits your session and the time the light is doing its best work.

The Canal & Pier

Working-canal character meets open Gulf. Distinctive backdrop you won't find on the resort beaches.

Open Gulf-front sand

Miles of uncrowded white sand — clean frames, no strangers in the background, golden-hour light all to yourselves.

Sunset Park

Easy access and a strong western view — a reliable golden-hour spot for families and couples.

Your rental or beach house

Mexico Beach is rental-house country. Ed will shoot right where you're staying.
